There’s no such thing as an unmotivated person.

Ever been told — or told yourself — that you’re just “not a motivated person”? Here’s the truth: there’s no such thing as an unmotivated person. The question is simply: What are you motivated towards right now?

If you ever been told you’re not motivated, by a teacher, a parent, a coach, or even yourself, I want you to know that this is simply not true.

There is no such thing as an unmotivated person.

We are all motivated in some way, all the time.

The real question isn’t whether you have motivation. It’s what you are motivated towards at any given moment, and also what type of motivation you’re having.

This is where it gets interesting. Your motivation is alive and well, but it’s entirely possible that that it’s currently steering you towards things that are actually working against your goals.

Maybe you’re highly motivated to scroll your phone, reorganize your sock drawer, or do just about anything except the thing you know you need to do. Sound familiar? (I’ve been there…)

The good news is, once you understand how your motivation might be misdirected, you can start doing something about it.

Stay tuned for more.
